Welcome to PFM Coaching! I am a running coach who is passionate about helping athletes achieve their goals while prioritizing their well-being. I take a holistic approach to coaching, recognizing that my athletes have busy lives and other commitments outside of running.
I believe that the key to success is balance. That's why I work with my athletes to create personalized training plans that fit around their schedules and lifestyle. I also emphasize the importance of recovery and mental health.
Here are some of the ways that I can help you achieve balance and well-being as a runner:
- Create a personalized training plan. I will work with you to assess your current fitness level, goals, and schedule. Then, I will create a training plan that is tailored to your individual needs. This plan will be realistic, achievable, and enjoyable and will evolve as you progress.
- Help you balance your running and non-running commitments. I understand that running is not the only thing in your life. That's why I will work with you to find a balance between your training and your other commitments. I may suggest training adjustments, alternative workouts, or ways to fit in your training during your busy day.
- Teach you how to train safely and avoid injuries. We can discuss proper running form and technique, as well as how to listen to your body and avoid overtraining. I will also provide you with resources and guidance on injury prevention so that you learn to recognise problems before they escalate.
- Promote recovery. Recovery is just as important as training. I will teach you the importance of sleep, nutrition, and listening to your body so that your training can be tailored to maximise adaption and recovery.
- Offer support and accountability. I will be there for you to support you and encourage you to keep going. I will also help you to stay on track with your training plan. At PFM Coaching we are a team and I will support you on every step of your running journey.
- Focus on your overall well-being. I believe that running can be a powerful tool for improving your overall well-being. That's why I will work with you to set goals that go beyond your running performance. I may also help you to develop strategies for managing stress, coping with setbacks, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

My passion for running has led me to continually push to see what I can achieve, I tend to be drawn to events that I think are beyond me rather than trying to get better at a given distance. This has seen me progress from a non runner in 2015 to the point where I have completed multiple 100 mile races, a 200 mile ultra, a 6 stage 235 mile ultra marathon and set a Fastest Known Time for the Limestone Way

(running coach) and UESCA certified Ultra running Coach
and hold a BSc (Hons) in Sport, Fitness and Coaching
